Ocassionally referred to as “Gramps” my white hair reinforces the fact, that I wasn’t born yesterday.
Although getting old isn’t all it’s cracked up to be ~ it is better than the early check-out alternative.
The big bennefit to old age is two-fold with both patience and experience.
Patience is a big deal. A really BIG deal. Although some may correctly say I’m not patient, I’ve come a very long way.
Truly a night and day type transiton.
While it’s true that being able to read somone elses trials and tribulations on any given subject does major bennefits for planning through to completion, however; it is still no substitute for experience.
Experience brings everything together completing tasks quickly, efficiently, with little to no struggle.
I know what makes me happy!
It seems to take a lifetime to realize something that we actually know. It is something we know instinctively when we were toddler’s. A toddler strives to help those around them.
“Just for fun” next time there is a toddler in the area try dropping a napkin and as the toddler see’s you dropped something they will come and pick it up and hand it to you if you point. You don’t even have to ask or speak as the toddler merely wants to help everyone.
Somehow it must be too easy ~ because we seem to forget this as we become “slaves of stuff.”
